Since Monday, 17 May 2021, Save the Children has been donating cash transfers of five hundred thousand Leones (le500,000) to 800 most deprived households; 581 women, and 209 men affected by the fire in Susan’s Bay.
As one of the first responders when the fire struck on March 14, Save the Children provided food and none food items to victims during the first four days of the emergency. This cash transfer will now support the most vulnerable groups to help them on their road to recovery.
