The people of Tripoli in Susan's Bay Tripoli are still reeling from the devastating fire that destroyed their community on January 9th. Families have lost everything, and children are among the most affected. Many have missed school because the fire destroyed all their school materials. But in the midst of this tragedy, Save the Children has provided hope and relief by providing food packs for all 1,500 victims.

While food is a basic necessity, Save the Children understands that the victims need much more than that to return to a sense of normalcy. The organization is closely monitoring data from the National Disaster Management Agency to inform its response and provide further assistance to those affected, especially the children.

Returning to school is a top priority for the children. They have expressed a desire for a place to sleep and uniforms so they can resume their education. Save the Children is committed to supporting these young students and helping them get back on track.

While the road to recovery may be long, the people of Susan's Bay can take comfort in knowing that they are not alone. Organizations like ourselves are standing with them, providing the assistance and resources they need to rebuild their lives and move forward.
