Save the Children Sierra Leone donate Office Equipment and Stationeries to the Family Support Unit.

 

Save the Children Sierra Leone through the Danish TV “Mek wi tok bot Mammy en Daddy Bizness “Project has on Tueday,17th March 2020 donated two Dell laptops and stationeries worth over thirty-six million Leones (USD 3,000) to the Family Support Unit of the Sierra Leone Police.

Over 55,000 grave crimes committed against children in African conflict zones in five years alone

 

There have been more than 55,882 grave violations against children in conflict affected areas in Africa between 2014 and 2018 according to new analysis by Save the Children [1].  This includes children being killed, maimed or sexually assaulted - despite commitments by African leaders to end all wars on the continent by 2020.

Save the Children Staff Retreat 2020

Staff of Save the Children Sierra Leone over the weekend (30, 31 January and 1 February 2020) had our annual staff retreat; a platform for staff to interact, elect the staff welfare executives, reflect and plan ahead.
