Save the Children has been operating in Sierra Leone for over Twenty years now. One of its biggest partner in the country is the government's Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs. Recently, the Rainbo Initiative said it has recorded 2,264 sexual reported cases nation-wide in seven months with the highest in Freetown.( 1,039).
