Regional Director for Save the Children West and Central Africa, Philippe Adapoe on Friday, 1st November, 2019 ended a three-day visit to the Sierra Leone Country Office.Taking over last June, Philip said that visiting Sierra Leone had always been a priority because the country was dear to him.

On Saturday afternoon around 4pm, March 16  fire broke out in Corner community, Fogbo destroying 37 houses. Aminata a mother of a six month old baby risked her life to enter her home which was ablaze to rescue her son, Hassan.

GOVERNMENT’S MANIFESTO REINFORCES CHILDREN PROTECTION, EDUCATION AND SURVIVAL IN SIERRA LEONE

The Sierra Leone Peoples’ Party (SLPP) manifesto ‘the New Direction’ for the 7th and 31st March 2018 Presidential and Parliamentary elections reinforces children protection, education and survival in Sierra Leone. The manifesto provides a clear guide of how the SLPP plans to address issues they consider as priorities which if achieved could lead the country to a new direction over the next five years.
