Over 900 adolescents play “Mi bodi nar mi rayt” Game Application

 

In the first four weeks of its roll out, Save the Children’s Game Application on adolescent sexual reproductive health “Mi bodi nar mi rayt” (My body, my rights) has reached nine hundred and fifty-three (953) adolescents; 557 girls and 396 boys - in all four Danish TV-"Mek wi tok bot Mammie en Daddy Biznes" project communities.

In commemoration of the Day of the African child, Save the Children provided a media platform for children across Sierra Leone to raise their voices; speak out, network and share information on issues affecting children.

#MaskUpSaveTheChildren Campaign

To support government efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, Save the Children is embarking on a Mask Up Campaign.

Starting June 2020, we are calling on all staff, children and organisations we work with to ALWAYS Mask Up at the office and in public places.

This campaign aims to raise awareness on the benefits of using a face mask to protect others as well as ourselves from COVID - 19.

Save the Children leads delegation of development partners in meeting with President Bio on COVID-19

 

On the 22nd May 2020, International Partners and donors in Sierra Leone held a virtual meeting with President Bio to give an update on interventions and provide recommendations to strengthen the fight against COVID 19.
